Peak North America Construction (PNAC) US is currently building an innovative sawmill project in Louisiana. The company is taking a sustainable approach to the construction of this facility by repurposing and refurbishing equipment sourced from various facilities in North America, including Canada.
This project is a testament to PNA’s innovative and resourceful approach to development. By identifying the necessary components from their existing facilities, they have expertly dismantled and refurbished equipment to seamlessly integrate it into the new facility.
Several teams were involved in the dismantling and refurbishing process across five different sites. These teams handled heavy lifting, crane operations, transportation, and component refurbishment. Over 100 trucks have delivered equipment so far, with plans for an additional 150 trucks, emphasizing the substantial nature of this logistical operation that will result in a state-of-the-art sawmill facility.
PNA’s innovative approach to equipment repurposing and refurbishment underscores their commitment to sustainable and cost-effective construction practices. As this unique project progresses, it not only underscores their dedication to quality but also their ingenuity in bringing a vision to life. The sawmill project in Louisiana demonstrates the power of creativity and resourcefulness in the industry.
