Peak North America was founded by Brian Fehr. He has over 40 years of experience in the wood products, mill construction and equipment industry. Brian's robust leadership, efficiency-focused philosophy, technological development, and can do, forward-thinking approach, are what inspire our team to be successful.
For over 40 years, Brian has used technology to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs in the processing of wood products. Notable companies that use Brian’s technology include Canfor, Tolko, West Fraser Timber, and Georgia Pacific. He is deeply committed to rural growth and sustainability of the forest industry.
Nick leads the accounting and financial reporting aspects of Peak North America, while supporting business development. Before Peak, Nick spent 3 years as the director of finance for Sasuchan Development Corporation which is the economic arm of Takla Nation. Nick‘s education includes his Chartered Professional Accountant designation and a degree in accounting and finance from University of Northern British Columbia.
Leif is the President of Heartland Steel Structures. He previously worked as the Vice President of Projects & Engineering at the BID Group of Companies and is a Registered Professional Engineer in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Ryan joined the Peak NA team after 20 years with Geotech Drilling Services as an owner and Vice President of Operations. Ryan was heavily focused on the mining sector and as such, sat on various boards throughout his tenure at Geotech including; President of the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association and board member with the Association of Mineral Exploration of BC. Ryan has worked on international projects in remote locations including Antarctica, West Africa, South America, USA and the Arctic Circle.
Tara has spent the last 20 years working as an HR Professional in the forest, heavy manufacturing, and mining industries. She brings a wealth of experience in negotiation, policy and process development, budgeting, operations management, recruitment, coaching, and environment, health, and safety (EHS). Tara is passionate about helping communities thrive and is committed to fostering community growth and development for people across North America.
